Jacqueline Fernandez is a Sri Lankan actress who hails from Manama, Bahrain and was born into a multi-ethnic household. The show she hosts, Lanka Business Report, is about Sri Lankan business. Padukone was born to tennis star Prakash Padukone. She was born in Bangalore and born in Copenhagen. As a teenager Padukone was a participant in numerous national badminton tournaments. She eventually gave up her passion for the game when she decided to become a fashion model. Padukone is a native of Mangalore, Indian. Her mother tongue Konkani is where she comes from. Her family ancestors are from the town of Padukone located in Kundapura Taluk, in the Udupi district of Karnataka state in India. Her father, Prakash Padukone, is an international badminton player who retired. Her mother is a traveling agent.
